ANTHROPOMORPHIC TEST MANIKIN

ACTS Smart Solutions, in collaboration with the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS) and the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP), have developed ASEAN 6- and 10-year-old sized manikins to act as child surrogates or reference tools for relevant design and vehicle safety assessments.

The manikins, which include a head, neck, torso, abdomen ballast, pelvis, and limbs, are used to represent ASEAN children, specifically for the ASEAN NCAP Child Restraint System (CRS) installation assessment procedure. These manikins are the first ASEAN children's manikins offered by ACTS Smart Solutions, MIROS, and ASEAN NCAP.
