Child Presence Detection (CPD): Assessment Methodology & Guidelines for ASEAN NCAP

Establishment of  Child Presence Detection database, ASEAN occupant seating preferences and CPD assessment methodology for ASEAN NCAP

ANCHOR III:

Establishment of 3D-Printed Child Manikins Using Anthropometric Data of 6- and 10-year-old
ASEAN Children

This project is a continuation of the ANCHORII: Anthropometric Database project. The establishment of ASEAN children's 3D-printed manikins will be tested using a selected vehicle safety assessment (i.e., Child Restraint
System installation) and intended to be applied for design refinement of vehicle safety systems.

ANCHOR III:

Optimum Chime Sound for Driver's Alert

In-vehicle chime technologies were implemented to provide the safest possible driving experience. This project aims to determine effective warning sounds for vehicle safety technology that could assist in driver’s reactions to possible dangers and work in harmony with other sounds in the vehicle.

Children Restraint System (CRS) Reference List for ASEAN NCAP

A 9-month duration project to establish a systematic revision process to update the CRS Reference List for the ASEAN NCAP Child Occupant Protection protocol

ANCHOR II:

Anthropometric Data of ASEAN Adults and Children for
ASEAN NCAP 

Development of an anthropometric database covering three ASEAN countries (i.e., Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand) to represent ASEAN's adults and children population for ASEAN NCAP
